The Aristocats Cat Club

Welcome to the Aristocats, a UK all-breed cat club affiliated to FIFe, with members all over the UK.  We are full members of Felis Britannica, the UK representative of FIFe, and as such can perform all the administrative functions required by its members, eg cat registration, litter registration, title validations, etc.

We hope you will enjoy looking round the site and if you like what you see and agree with our objectives, you'd be welcome to join us!

What's new on the site:

STOP PRESS:
Results of the 29/30 April 2008 Aristocats Market Harborough show
are now on the show information page, and the Winners Galleries are available too!

Calling all Members!

We now have several pages where we invite members to either make contributions, or just send in details of their cats that have successes of one sort or another, so if you are a member and have entries for any of the following, please do tell me about it/them and see yourself and/or your cats immortalised online!

Roll of honour - for cats that win top titles (EC, EP, DM, DSM, DVM, WW or JW)
Members Stories - if you have an interesting cat-related story to tell - tell us!
FB Points Awards - for cats that are mentioned in the annual winners lists

and, new next month - Show Brags!  For cats that have won BIS/BOX at any FIFe show
Send us details and pics and see your cat's name up in lights ... well, coloured fonts, anyway!

And, of course, to all our breeder members - make sure you are listed on our Breeders' List
and that your available kittens are listed on the Kittens List, too!

May 2008
  • There's an update to the news release about the FB Points Awards Winners on the News page - don't get too excited, like everyone else we're still waiting for the full list of winners, but we *do* have the other major winners listed along with the Overall Winner, the gorgeous Taurus Goloubchik.

  • And following on from that, we have a new page on the site - dedicated to honouring those Aristocats' members' cats that are winners in the FB Points Awards - they don't have to be the top ones, but if your cat has made it into the top ten in any of the various categories/groups (and you know about it yet!), then please do tell me about it, with a pic, and we'll put your cat up too!  This includes the previous years, too - I'll happily add sections for them if members would like to see their cats on there!

  • Sheila Beevers of Topmarx British Shorthairs is our featured breeder this month - you can find out all about her and her cats on the Breeders Profiles page.

  • Also, our Apr07 profile on Jane Lord at Jamcusa has been updated.

April 2008
  • Check out the News page - we don't have full details of the results of the 2007 Annual Points Awards yet, but we do know that, the Overall Winner is ... well, you'll just have to go to the News page and see, won't you?!  Needless to say, if you are the proud owner of a winner in any of the categories, please do tell me about it - we'll be happy to include your cat, too!

  • We've a new story on the Member's Stories page, too - all about Vassiliy the Siberian, and how he came to be here in England.  Don't forget, if you've got a special story to tell, about a special day, a special cat or just something you want to tell us, do tell me about it and I'll put it in!

  • Our featured breeder this month is Aristocats very own committee member and Show Manager, John Cunningham of Pr-n-Kmt Abyssinians  - read all about him and his cats on the Breeders Profiles page.

March 2008
  • We have two new EPs on the Roll of Honour page - not newly gained, but only just included!  They both belong to member Lynne Geary of Lyndongraey - congratulations on your lovely cats, Lynne!

  • Yet another Aristocats Guide is released this month; number three, on FIFe Titles & Awards.  You'll find it on the Guides page with the others; hope it's useful!

  • Suzy Slade of Brilthor Maine Coons is our featured breeder this month - you can find out all about her and her cats on the Breeders Profiles page.

February 2008
  • The next Aristocats Guide is now available - number four, on The EMS Codes.  You'll find it on the Guides page; hope it's useful!

  • Our featured breeders this month are Graham & Sandie Taberer of Sicorn Cornish Rex, British Shorthairs and Siamese - read all about them and their cats on the Breeders Profiles page.

January 2008
  • Please check out the schedule and new entry form for the Market Harborough show next Spring, available from the Show Information page!  There are going to be lots of side classes, with cash prizes for those with enough entries (up to £600 in total!) - so don't forget to enter as many as you can along with your main entry!  Details on the schedule and on our News page.

  • We've a new story on the Member's Stories page - a lovely show report by Margo the Ragdoll, I'm sure you'll love it as I did (and she certainly deserves to be proud of herself, too)!  Don't forget, if you've got a special story to tell, about a special day, a special cat or just something you want to tell us, do tell me about it and I'll put it in!

  • Our featured breeder this month is a new breeder, Julie Stanton of Rustiblu Birmans & Maine Coons - read all about her and her cats on the Breeders Profiles page.

  • We're still waiting for the next Newest Honouree on the Roll of Honour - I'm still hopeful of getting the details of our less common one, but if any member has a new European Champion or European Premier (or DSM, DM, WW or JW!!) please do tell me about it - with date of attainment and a picture, of course!

December 2007
  • We have a new page on the site - The FIFe Show Diary!  As many details of the next couple of years' shows as are known at this time, including which judges will be there and links to the clubs' sites for further information. Update, May 2008: unfortunately it proved too difficult to keep this page up to date, so rather than have an out-of-date page on the site we've had to remove it entirely.

  • Anita Price of NoCoatOn Sphynx is our featured breeder this month - read all about her and her cats at Breeders Profiles.

  • Yet another new top title for an Aristocat cat this month - and one that doesn't happen very often, too!  Unfortunately I didn't get the final details through in time for this update, but watch this space (on the Roll of Honour page) and as soon as I do get the information, I'll put it up!

  • You should have seen the invite to the annual Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony that Eddie emailed out a couple of days ago, but if not, there's a copy on the News page - better get your request in quick if you want to go!

November 2007
  • The Aristocats Guides are here!  Or at least, the first one is, on the FIFe show day - more will follow.  Check out Our Guides for more information.

  • Our featured breeder this month is Marianne Upham of Yenicizgi Turkish Vans, White Turkish Vans (Vankedisi) and Turkish Angoras - check out her profile at Breeders Profiles.

  • The Aristocats cats had a wonderful time at the Garden of England Show in Swanley on 20/21 October - no less than FOUR were made up to EC/EP (that I know of - have we missed any?  Do tell us if so!) - check out the Roll of Honour page for details.  And one is particularly special - I'm told that EP Sicorn Red Robin is the first Cornish Rex to make European Premier - so special congratulations to Graham & Sandie!!

  • We've had a slight rearrangement of the breeders' profiles generally - now, if you click on the icon next to a name on the Breeders' List, you'll be taken straight to that profile, not just to the profiles page.

October 2007
  • Our featured breeder this month is Mary-Rose Douglas of Vieuxtemps Norwegian Forest Cats - check out her profile at Breeders Profiles.

  • The initial Winners List is out!  If your cat has qualified for the Winners' Show this year (s)he should be on it - check out the News page for details.

  • Also on the News page, a new newsletter.

September 2007
  • Don't forget to check out our Breeders Profiles - our featured breeder this month is Mary Stuart of Rumtumtugger Maine Coons & Australian Mists.

  • You've all replied to the club's email about shows and what to do to improve matters, yes?  If not, please do so as soon as possible - it's important to all of us!  If you didn't receive it, drop Eddie a note and I'm sure he'll be happy to resend you a another copy!

August 2007
  • Our featured breeder this month is Tracey-Jane Rigler of Pas de Chat Ragdolls - see Breeders Profiles.

  • Due to popular demand, a blank show entry form has been included on both the Show Information and Useful Forms pages, help yourself if you'd like a copy or two!

July 2007
  • Sylvia Hauser of Sharue Siamese and Seychellois is our July featured breeder - see Breeders Profiles.

  • FINALLY - results for our Thornbury Show on 16 & 17 June 2007 - full results for Saturday and Sunday and, of course, Winners Galleries, also for Saturday and Sunday!

  • We have a new distinguished cat on the Roll of Honour page - and she got both the DSM and EP titles at recent shows!

June 2007
  • This month's June profile is on "our beloved leaders", Eddie & Rose Kitching of Rozeecoonz Maine Coons (and soon Australian Mists!) - see Breeders Profiles.

  • There has been another judge change for the June show in Thornbury, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control - check out the note on the Show Information page.

  • At the FIFe General Assembly in May there were quite a few proposals that were accepted, including two major changes that are detailed on the News page.

May 2007
  • The profile for May is about Ron & Jean Brown of Lunaris Maine Coons - see Breeders Profiles.

  • There have been some judge changes for the June show in Thornbury - check out the new schedule.

  • The new rule that covers changing your FIFe club requires that the moving person fills out a new form - you'll find it in Useful Forms.

  • And don't forget to check out the Roll of Honour and News pages!

April 2007
  • Check out April's profile - we 'talk' with Lea Pawley of Athenais Burmillas & Burmese (see Breeders Profiles)
