The Aristocats Club Newsletter

Issue 5

February 10th 2006

Hello All!

The Aristocats Clubs membership is building up nicely. We have had over 180 members join in the last two years, which is admirable. It also means that we have one of the largest membership in Felis Britannica.

Registrations

Congratulations once again to Rose who keeps the turnover of registrations to less than a week, providing all the documentation is there when they arrive of course. The turnaround from FB is approximately the same so most members are receiving a turnaround of registrations in 2-3 weeks. Rose has also been appointed to the position of Assistant Registrar for Felis Britannica. Congratulations are also in order there so well done Rose.

Aristocats Club Shows

The next show will be held at the Epic Centre, Ellesmere Port. The theme for this show because it is near Easter is The Easter ‘Eggsotics and Persian’ Special’ excuse the pun.

Simon Dorey is the Entry Clerk and organiser for this show so please give him all the support you can. I will still be there behind the scenes if needed. The club lost in excess of £1000 at Salisbury, whilst the club funds are there to support losses on show days I am hoping we can get a good profit at Ellesmere Port you deserve it. This time I am once again asking for a list of helpers on show-day, we need as much help as we can get and I would like to put some names to the jobs, if we get enough names we can limit the amount of time each person needs to spend on the jobs.

The other request I have is for donations to the raffle.

I have said this before, but we have over 180 members, one cat entered from each member would ensure that we wouldn’t have to worry about whether we needed dispensation or not and an early entry would not only take away the worry that is there at present, but would also earn you additional discount

A copy entry form and schedule is enclosed as usual. DON’T MISS OUT ON THE SPECIAL MEMBERS RATES.

Outlook

I have enclosed a copy of the first production of Felis Britannica’s magazine Outlook. The new editor for the next production is our own Belinda Wright, she is looking forward to receiving ideas, stories, and photos. I am sure that there are a lot of members out there that can help her out. Please pass all ideas through your club.

Well that’s all for now, until next time.

Kindest Regards

Eddie Kitching
